**Bhubaneswar:** The Commissionerate Police on Monday arrested the drunken girl, who abused and assaulted some police personnel here on Sunday.
A case has been registered against the girl under section 506, 343, 294, 323 of Indian Penal Code (IPC) at the Kharavela Nagar PS.
The cops have seized Rs 50,000 and a mobile phone from her possession. An Aadhar card has also been recovered from her mentioning her name Duniya Khan, resident of Lajpat Nagar, Delhi.
Speaking to the media persons, DCP Satyabrata Bhoi informed, “She is not at all
cooperating with the police. She is neither revealing her identity, nor informing the purpose of her visit. We will soon find out whether her Aadhar card is genuine or not and then continue the probe.”
Notably, the girl was lying on the footpath in front of the HHI hotel in Kharavela Nagar area with a bottle of liquor in her hand. She started abusing and assaulting the city cops when they tried to help her. The girl even created ruckus even at the Capital Hospital during medical checkups.
