Bhubaneswar: Deputy Chief Minister in-charge of Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment and Energy Departments Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo offered puja before commencing work from his office at the Lok Seva Bhavan on Friday.
According to an official press release, Singh Deo commenced the work of his Ministries by signing on certain important files after holding discussions with the senior officials of both Departments.
After the formation of the Cabinet, the office of the Deputy Chief Minister was temporarily functioning in the Krushi Bhavan.
Now all the work of the departments will be managed from the Lok Seva Bhawan office.
Special Secretaries, Directors and other senior officers of both the Departments were present and greeted the Minister.
The Minister discussed with the officials of both the Departments on various issues of the respective Departments.
The Minister advised all officers to make the Departments people-oriented.
