Bhubaneswar: In view of the increased passenger footfall during the ongoing festive season, East Coast Railway (ECoR) has taken proactive steps to ensure the safety, security, and smooth movement of passengers across its network.
To manage the extra rush at railway stations, a strict queue system has been established to manage crowd movement in both the reserved and unreserved areas.
Security personnel, including Railway Protection Force (RPF), have been deployed to maintain discipline and ensure smooth passenger movement. Passengers are being guided systematically to prevent overcrowding and confusion, especially during peak hours.
ECoR has also implemented a streamlined and coordinated process for boarding passengers onto special trains. Security staff and station personnel have been strategically stationed at key points to guide passengers and maintain order, both inside the station premises and in the surrounding areas.
Senior officials of ECoR are monitoring the situation closely and coordinating efforts to minimise inconvenience to travellers. Measures such as real-time crowd monitoring, platform management, and increased patrolling have been put in place.
Passengers are advised to arrive at stations well in advance and to cooperate with security personnel and railway staff for a safe and comfortable travel experience.
East Coast Railway remains committed to providing a secure, efficient, and pleasant journey for all passengers during this festive season.
