East Coast Railway’s Massive Enforcement Drive At Cuttack Railway Station

**Cuttack:** East Coast Railway has taken up a major project for redevelopment and beautification of the Cuttack railway station. In a development related to this project, the Khurda Road Division of ECoR today executed massive enforcement drive on outskirts of the iconic Cuttack Railway station.

As a part of the drive, 60 temporary structures and encroachments established near Gate No 2 were demolished. The evicted land will be utilised for expansion of the station and road widening, Khurda Road Division sources said.

Apprehending protests, the enforcement squad was backed by 45 GRP and RPF personnel and officials of local administration.
