Bhubaneswar: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has ordered re-polling in Kantamal under Kandhamal Lok Sabha constituency.
The re-polling will be held in Booth No 26, 28 of Kantamal on May 23. The voting process will begin at 7 am and will continue till 4 PM, a notification issued by the Chief Electoral officers stated.
The ECI has ordered the Collectors of Boudh and Kandhamal districts to make voters and candidates of the constituency aware of it.
The Commission has appointed Dillip Kumar Mohapatra as the Additional collector of Boudh and returning officer of Kantamal Assembly constituency.
There was an allegation of booth rigging in Kantamal Constituency.
