Bhubaneswar: To accommodate increased passenger demand during Independence Day 2025, East Coast Railway will run special trains between Shalimar and Malatipatpur for passenger convenience:
Train No. 08037/08038 Shalimar-Malatipatpur-Shalimar Special.
- From Shalimar: Departs at 21:20 hrs on 14th August, 2025.
- From Malatipatpur: Departs at 19:40 hrs on 15th August, 2025.
Stoppages (Both Directions): Santragachi , Kharagpur, Baleswar, Bhadrak, Jajpur Keonjhar Road, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar and Khurda Road.
These Independence Day specials are arranged to ensure smooth travel for passengers traveling around the holiday, offering convenient timings and key stopovers on the route between Shalimar (Kolkata area) and Malatipatpur (near Puri).
