Bhubaneswar: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday secured a 7-day remand of Archana Nag who has been arrested on charges of extorting money from bigwigs threatening them with ‘private moment’ videos.
While the ED had sought a remand of 15 days, the court of SDJM, Bhubaneswar allowed the agency 7 days of Nag’s custody. The ED is investigating money laundering allegations against Nag and the sources of her income.
Meanwhile, today while being produced in the court, Nag burst out at reporters saying that she was innocent and has been tricked and trapped.
