Bhubaneswar: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued notices to lady blackmailer Archana Nag, her husband Jagabandhu Chand, and aide Khageswar Patra to show cause as to why their properties will not be confiscated.
Archana who faces allegations of blackmailing people while running a sex racket, and the other two have been arrested by the ED under the Money-Laundering Act. She and her husband allegedly amassed assets worth Rs 30 crore within four years by blackmailing influential people.
Khageswar had done many bank transactions amounting to lakhs of rupees with Archana since 2017. The ED has the evidence of the transactions.
