Bhubaneswar: The results of the annual Plus II examinations 2021 is likely to be published in the State by the end of this month.
“We had earlier announced to publish the results by the second week of August but since the Supreme Court has directed for publishing the results by July 31st, we are trying our best to publish the same by July 31st,” stated School & Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash here today in response to queries from reporters seeking to know the date for publication of annual Plus II exam results in the State.
Dash, however, clarified that in the worst-case scenario if some problem arises the publication of results might get delayed by a day or two and maintained that efforts are underway to publish the results by July 31st.
Worth mentioning, in view of the Covid-19 pandemic situation Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on June 4 had announced the cancellation of annual Plus II exams conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha.
Patnaik had said that the safety of the students was the priority of his government. All the stakeholders would have to face a lot of trouble if the board examinations were conducted amid the second wave of the pandemic, he had warned.
Patnaik had directed the CHSE to formulate a well-defined objective criterion to evaluate the students after thorough consultations with experts within a stipulated time frame.
