Bhubaneswar: A total of 13,058 examinees have dropped out from appearing in the ongoing High School Certificate Exam (Summative II exam) despite filling up forms for the exam, informed School & Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash today.
Das said that in the 2021-22 academic year, a total of 45,000 examinees had dropped out from appearing in the HSC exam despite filling up forms.
He said the ratio of dropouts this year has declined as compared to the previous year.
He further said that efforts will be made to make the absentee examinees appear in the Supplementary exam.
