Bhubaneswar: The Central Bureau of Communication, under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, launched an eight-day photo exhibition and awareness programme at Bali Yatra ground in Cuttack on Friday, shedding light on the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat @2047’.
This initiative aims to showcase the country’s progress and development goals for 2047, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for a developed India.
The event was formally inaugurated by Cuttack MP Bhartruhari Mahtab in the presence of Jagatsinghpur MP Bibhu Prasad Tarai and Cuttack Sadar MLA Prakash Chandra Sethi.
In his address, Mahtab commended the ambitious vision outlined by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for transforming India into a developed and prosperous nation by 2047. Speaking on India’s achievements, Tarai emphasized that “India is steadily emerging as a global powerhouse. The vision and exemplary leadership of the Honourable Prime Minister have turned aspirations into achievements, securing India a significant place on the world stage.”
Akhil Kumar Mishra, Additional Director General of Central Bureau of Communication & Press Information Bureau outlined the objectives of the exhibition, emphasizing its role in raising public awareness about the Government of India’s developmental schemes. He urged visitors to engage with the exhibits and learn more about the programmes designed to benefit the citizens.
The inaugural ceremony was also graced by the Director of the Central Bureau of Communication Girish Chandra Dash, Field Exhibition Officer of CBC Mahendra Prasad Jena, and Deputy Director of PIB Manoj Kumar Jali.
The exhibition provides a comprehensive overview of various people-centric welfare schemes and programs introduced by the Government of India. With the expected high turnout during Bali Yatra, the event offers visitors a valuable opportunity to gain insights and access benefits from these initiatives.
The eight-day programme also features interactive talk sessions, cultural performances, and competitions, aimed at fostering greater public participation and awareness.
