Eight Odisha Districts Likely To Face Rain And Thunderstorms In Next Three Hours: IMD

Bhubaneswar: Eight districts are likely to witness light to moderate rain or thunderstorms with lightning and gusty surface wind 40-50 kmph in the next three hours, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) prediction.

Going by the nowcast warning issued at 2:30pm by the regional weather office, eight districts such as Bhadrak Balasore, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Ganjam, Puri, Jagatsinghpur and Kendrapada are likely to face light to moderate rain or thunderstorms with lightning and gusty surface wind 40-50 kmph during next three hours.

People are advised to keep a watch on the weather for worsening conditions.
