Berhampur: An elderly man was killed and buried by a group from his own village over suspicion of sorcery, reports stated. The deceased, Trinath Patra was a native of Bandhaguda village under Sergada police limits.
While the incident took place on Thursday night, the body of Patra was retrieved today morning. Police have detained one person in this connection and launched a manhunt for others involved in the crime.
