Bhubaneswar: In a tragic incident, an elderly man and his minor grand son died due to a snake bite at Shabar in Karad Kana Panchayat of Shergarh Block in Ganjam District.
Panchanan Naik and his grandson Rohan Naik (12) were bitten by a poisonous snake while they were sleeping at home at around 11 pm last night.
Both of them were brought to Shergarh Community Health Center at 11:50 pm. After primary treatment, both of them were shifted to Berhampur MKCG Medical College, where both the grandfather and grandson died.
