Bhubaneswar: An elderly man, Bidyadhar Dehuri (62), was trampled to death by an elephant in Koriapal village, Kamakhyanagar East Range, Dhenkanal district.

Dehuri, a worshipper in the village, was on his way to take a bath at a nearby waterbody when he encountered a small elephant. The elephant attacked him with its trunk, injuring his right thigh with its tusk and crushing him.
