Angul: A 70-year-old woman along with her young son was found dead under mysterious circumstances at Balaramprasad village under Nalco police station in Angul district on Saturday.
The body of Droupadi Sahu was found with her throat slit while son Ranjit (32) was found hanging inside the room.
Police recovered the bodies and sent to Angul Hospital for post-mortem.
Police launched an investigation to ascertain whether it was a case of suicide or murder.
Angul SDPO rushed to the spot with a scientific team and dog squad and started an investigation.
The date of the incident also remains unclear.
