Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik held a massive roadshow today at Cuttack and Bhubaneswar. The CM’s roadshow started at 3 pm from from Abhinav Bidanasi under Cuttack Barabati assembly segment.
People braved the scorching heat to and came outdoors to catch a glimpse of the Chief Minister. Naveen did not disappoint the audience as he waved continuously from the pedestal of the state-of-the-art bus which he is using for election campaigning.
The crowd swelled in the evening and a large number of people collected near Naveen’s bus at Badambadi. He addressed the gathering from the make-shift stage fitted onto the high-tech bus and urged the people to vote for BJD both in the assembly and parliamentary elections.
The CM also offered prayers at the Chandi Mandir during his visit to Cuttack to campaign for the party candidates Bharturhari Mahtab from the Cuttack Lok Sabha and Debasish Samnatray from Cuttack-Barabati Assembly segment.
The roadshow which started from CDA will culminated at Press Chhak at Khapuria. All the party candidates from undivided Cuttack district contesting in Assembly and LS polls and senior leaders participated in the mega roadshow.
The Chief Minister’s cavalcade through NH 16 and entered the capital city through Rasulgarh square. The long queue of vehicles following Naveen’s bus travelled through Bomikhal and Cuttack Road. The roadshow culminated at Kalpana square.
Cuttack and Bhubaneswar parliamentary constituencies will go to polls in the third phase elections in Odisha, scheduled to be held on April 23.
