Elephant Calf Found Dead In Narsinghpur

Cuttack: Carcass of a five-year-old elephant calf has been found inside Debabhumi reserve forest in Narsinghpur area of Cuttack district.
“The elephant calf’s carcass was spotted by our staff during patrolling on Wednesday evening. It’s a five-year-old calf. Though it appears to have died of health related issues but the exact cause of its death will be ascertained after post-mortem is completed today,” informed Manoj Patra, ACF, Athgarh to reporters on Thursday .
