Angul: Carcass of an elephant was found in an agricultural field at Madhapur village in Angul district on Tuesday.
On getting information, forest officials reached the spot and initiated a probe to find the exact reason behind its death.
The age of the elephant is expected to be 15. It is suspected that it was electrocuted. The truth can be ascertained after post-mortem.
