Bhubaneswar: The State Government, after considering the need for Medical Officers, has brought out changes in the Dynamic Assured Career Progression (DACP) scheme assuring 4 career progressions / financial upgradations in the service period of medical officers.
The State Government by invoking Rule 16 of ORSP Rules, 2017 has allowed 4 up-gradations on completion of 6, 12, 18, and 24 years. Earlier 3 career progressions were allowed under DACP on completion of 7, 14, and 21 years.
Notifying the order, Secretary of Health, and Family Welfare Shalini Pandit hoped that this change would bring about more commitment and dedication among the officers of the medical community.
The years of service for career progression would be counted on the basis of the years of regular service from the direct entry level recruited through the Odisha Public Service Commission. The revised DACP provides the following:
