Bhubaneswar: Former Administrator of Shree Jagannath Temple and researcher of Jagannath culture Rabindra Narayan Mishra passed away at a private hospital here today, his family sources informed. He was 87. Incidentally, Mishra breathed his last on his birthday.
An ardent devotee of Lord Jagannath, Mishra was an eminent storyteller and writer of the popular column ‘Kathatia Kahun’.
The former temple administrator had a profound knowledge of the rituals and traditions of Shree Jagannath Temple.
Mishra a native of Kudiari village near Jatni was residing at his VSS Nagar residence after retirement.
