Berhampur: Ex-Sarpanch of Banthapali gram panchayat under Polosara block of Ganjam district has been allegedly murdered by some miscreants on Friday.
The body of the deceased identified as Pradip Bisoyi was recovered from the roadside near Baurisukunda chowk under Bada Bazar police limits in Berhampur.
Bisoyi had been lodged in jail following his arrest in connection with a case and was recently released on parole. Past enmity is suspected to be the reason behind the crime.
