Bhubaneswar: The Excise Department has warned bar owners of strict action if the rules are violated which can even lead to the cancellation of bar licenses.
“I would like to warn all that there is provision for extra hour in the rules and those who have been granted permission to do so also have to adhere to the conditions specified therein, especially in bars where women are employed. Anyone violating the rule, found mis-utilising or exploiting women employees under such circumstances strict action will be taken against the bar which can lead to cancellation of licence,” said Narsingh Bhol, Excise Commissioner.
