Bhubaneswar: An excise department constable was brutally attacked while conducting a raid on illegal liquor sales in the Berhampur Town Police limits area.
The incident occurred when a team of excise officials raided a spot where illicit liquor was being sold. One of the employees, who was recording a video of the raid, was assaulted by a group of people.
The injured employee was rushed to a nearby medical facility for treatment.
Police have registered a case against seven accused individuals and initiated an investigation.
