Exit Polls Predict Significant Gains In LS Seats For BJP In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Most exit polls have predicted significant gains for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Odisha with the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) up for a rude shock in the number of Lok Sabha seats in the General Elections 2024.

According to exit poll predictions by Jann Ki Baat, BJP will get 15-18 seats while BJD will get 7-3 seats.

Similarly, C-Voter has predicted that BJP is likely to get 17-19 seats, BJD 1-3 and INDIA bloc 0-1 seats.

Besides, Today’s Chanakya has predicted BJP: 16 (± 3 seats), BJD: 4 (± 2 Seats), Congress+: 1 (± 1 Seats), and Others: NIL.

Further, Republic-Matrize has predicted BJP: 9-12 seats BJD: 7-10 seats, and Congress: 0-1 seats.

Moreover, India TV-CNX has predicted the BJP to win 15-17 seats, INDIA up to 1, and the BJD 4-6 seats.

Odisha has 21 Lok Sabha seats, out of which BJD had won 12 seats, BJP 8 and Congress 1 in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
