Keonjhar: A truck was partially damaged after an explosion in the induction furnace at KJS Ahluwalia steel plant at Barapada under Rugudi police limits in Keonjhar district.
The truck laden with iron ore was parked near the blast furnace when the incident took place.
The reason of the blast remains unclear.
Plant authorities started an inquiry into the possible cause of the explosion.
No injuries or casualties have been reported.
The company officials informed the fire service personnel who rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.
Local police also reached the scene after being informed about the incident.
