Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday directed senior officials to complete formalities pending with regards to promotion of State Government employees by December 31.
According to a press note released by the CMO, Naveen has directed that all approvals pending with the Government in connection to promotion of staff and officials should be completed by the year-end and people eligible for promotions should get their due by January 1, 2020. All departmental heads and Collectors have been issued a directive in this regard, the note read.
The Chief Minister has expressed anguish over uncalled for interruptions delaying the process of promotions. He further directed officials to adopt complete transparency and ensure speedy completion of formalities related to promotions of Government employees.
Naveen further stated that in 5T model of governance Teamwork is an essential component. Timely promotions for those employees who are committed to their work is a major source of encouragement and there should be no delay in this process.
