**Bhubaneswar:** The BJP lost the recent assembly polls in the three States – Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh and Rajasthan – as it failed to keep its promises, said Antar-Rashtriya Hindu Parishad (AHP) president Pravin Togadia after his arrival at Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) here today.
If the BJP had provided employment to the youths as promised, had waived loan of farmers and constructed the Ram Temple, it would have won in all the States, he opined.
Speaking on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s agenda to announce projects worth over Rs 14,500 crore for Odisha during his visit to the State on December 24, Togadia said that though projects are good people seek employment. However, nearly 10 crore youths are unemployed and during Modi’s rule 52,000 farmers have committed suicide.
The person who will grant Minimum Support Price (MSP) to farmers and provide employment for youths will only get votes in India, he added.
When questioned if the BJP will face same fate as in other States, Togadia said he can answer once he completes his Odisha tour. He will be attending various events in Bhadrak, Jeypore, Jharsuguda and various other places across the State.
