Rayagada: The Rayagada district administration today detained a person who posed as a doctor and was running a private clinic illegally near Old Bus Stand in Muniguda in Rayagada district.
The district administration has also sealed the illegal clinic.
According to reports, following orders of Rayagada Collector, Muniguda Tahasildar, Medical Officer of the Community Health Centre (CHC) and Muniguda IIC jointly conducted a raid at the illegally operating private clinic near Old Bus Stand in Muniguda.
The administration sealed the clinic as Subrat Biswas who was running it did not possess a degree in medical science.
Police have detained Biswas while further investigation is underway.
