Fake Oil Factory Raided In Odisha’s Cuttack City, Owner, Aide Rounded Up

**Cuttack: ** Commissionerate Police on Tuesday swooped down on a fake oil factory under the Jagatpur Police Station limits and took into custody the owner of the illegal firm along with his associate.

The police raid on the fake oil factory took place near Jagatpur truck terminal on the outskirts of the millennium city here.

100 tins of adulterated oil have also been seized.
Owner of the fake oil factory has been identified as Anadi Charan Behera.

Anadi and his accomplice were detained by the police and interrogation was on.

Cuttack DCP Akhileshvar Singh informed media, “Last night we raided a place in Jagatpur area. Anadi Behera of Mangalabag area is carrying out this illegal oil firm. They are of various brands which are adulterated, packed and marketed.”

“We’re verifying from where the adulterators are procuring the tins, stickers and labels. Basing on tip-offs, we have been conducting raids at regular intervals,” the DCP further informed.
