Fake Website Dupes Devotees With Paid Jagannath Darshan Claims

Puri: A website titled ‘India Thrills’ has been found misleading devotees by claiming to offer paid darshan services at the Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri.

The website, which appears on Google, provides false information about various types of paid darshan, including special, quick, and VIP darshan, with prices ranging from Rs 50 to Rs 500.

However, darshan at the Srimandir is completely free, and devotees can visit the temple without paying any charges. The website’s claims of offering special darshan services for a fee are entirely baseless and seem to be an attempt to deceive gullible devotees.

The India Thrills website has listed different rates for darshan, including Rs 50 for special darshan between 7 am and 12 midnight, Rs 100 for quick darshan, and Rs 500 for VIP darshan. These claims are likely to mislead devotees who are unaware of the actual darshan process at the temple.

Devotees and authorities have been urged to be cautious and report such misleading websites to prevent further exploitation of devotees. The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration has not issued any statement regarding paid darshan services. Devotees are advised to ignore such websites and visit the temple for free darshan.
