Malkangiri: Even a year after the death of Deb Narayan Panda, the Personal Assistant of Malkangiri Collector, his family is waiting to get justice and considering to knock on the door of the Orissa High Court.
Panda had gone missing on December 27, 2019, and his body was found a day later from Satiguda reservoir. His wife Banaja had alleged that he was murdered by Malkangiri Collector Manish Agarwal and some of his staff.
As it has over been a year since the incident, and one-and-a-half months since the formation of an SIT (Special Investigation Team) to investigate the case, Banaja said that she has little faith in the probe team and is waiting for their report.
Banaja further said that she has also put forth fifty questions before the SIT regarding the probe. The family will set their future course of action after the SIT submits its report in the local SDJM court.
