Farmer Dies After Wall Collapses In Sundargarh District

Sundargarh: A 54-year-old farmer died after a mud wall collapsed on him at his home in Sarasara village under Tikayatpali police station in Sundargarh district on Sunday night.

The deceased farmer identified as Debendra Bhainsa was keeping watch over his vegetable garden last night. Bhainsa was sleeping in his hut in the vegetable garden when the wall suddenly collapsed, burying him under the debris. Residents found him lying dead in the morning and informed the family, who then alerted the police.

Upon being informed, Tikayatpali police recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem examination.

Police, meanwhile, launched an investigation into the incident.
