Fatal Accident Claims Three Lives in Odisha’s Jajpur

Jajpur: Three persons died when the bike they were travelling in hit a moving truck from the rear near the main gate of Jindal Plant under Kalinganagar police limits in Jajpur district on Saturday.

According to sources, the mishap occurred as their speeding bike rammed into the truck.  All deceased are local residents. Two of them died on the spot while another youth died while undergoing treatment at Kalinganagar Hospital.

Police, meanwhile, recovered the bodies and sent them for post-mortem. Police are yet to establish the identity of the youths killed in the mishap.

Vehicular movement was disrupted on the road due to the accident.
