Female Elephant Dies Of ‘Old Age’ In Odisha’s Angul

**Angul**: A female elephant was found dead near Angul’s Bantala area today morning. After the locals informed, the forest offficials reached the spot and recovered the elephant’s body from Hinsaloi village.

There was no sign of any conflict which led to its death. So the officials suspect that it might have died due to old age.

With a large elephant population in the state, the officials have a huge task at hand of taking care of the animals as well as keeping in check the increasing jumbo-human conflicts.
