Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today approved the proposal for a 3 percent hike in Dearness Allowance (DA) for State government employees.
With this, the DA of State government employees has been increased to 34 percent from the existing 31 percent.
The hike has been done with retrospective effect from the 1st of January this year.
Dearness Relief (TI) of pensioners drawing pensions on revised rates has been also hiked by 3 percent.
In addition to receiving increased allowances in this month’s salary, the arrears of allowances from January 2022 to August will be paid separately.
