Bhubaneswar: In the last two quarter-final matches of the FIH Hockey Men’s World Cup, to be played in the Kalinga stadium here on Wednesday, England will take on Germany in the first game of the day, while the Netherlands will clash with South Korea in the second game.
Belgium and Australia have already reached the semi-finals of the ongoing World Cup. Australia toiled hard for a 4-3 win over Spain in the first quarter-final; Belgium did not face much problem in their 2-0 win over New Zealand in the second game.
South Korea is the only Asian team that reached the quarter-final stage of the FIH Hockey Men’s World Cup.
