Bhubaneswar: International Hockey Federation (FIH) President Dato Tayyab Ikram today called on Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at the latter’s residence Naveen Niwas here.
Ikram praised the Odisha Government for successfully organizing the Hockey World Cup.
Chief Minister Patnaik and FIH President Ikram discussed on further development of hockey and nurturing of hockey talents at grassroots.
Patnaik thanked Ikram for his wonderful words about Odisha’s ability to host international sport events like Hockey World Cup 2023.
Secretary to CM (5T) VK Pandian was present during the meeting.
