Khordha: A major fire broke out at an edible oil factory in Sarua Industrial Estate under Baghamari police limits of Khordha district on Thursday.
According to reports, fire broke out at the godown of Universal Infra & Agri Oil Pvt Ltd. Though the reason behind the blaze is not clear, it is suspected that packaging material kept in the factory’s godown caught fire due to electric short circuit.
Three fire tenders have been deployed to contain the blaze while plumes of black smoke was seen emanating from the building.
