Bhubaneswar: A fire broke out in the auditorium of a private college at Jagamara on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar, causing panic among students and staff.
According to sources, the fire, which occurred on the second floor, was brought under control by the fire brigade officials.
All 65 students stuck on the third floor were safely rescued with the help of firefighters. However, one student was hospitalised as a precautionary measure after complaining of uneasiness due to smoke inhalation.
However, the cause of the fire is still unknown.
