Bhubaneswar: A minor fire broke out at Lok Seva Bhawan in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday morning, reportedly due to a short circuit in an electrical board. The fire was quickly brought under control by the fire department, and no casualties or major damage have been reported.
According to sources, the fire broke out around 9 am, triggering the fire alarm. The cleaning staff alerted the the Secretariat’s fire department and electrical team. The team members promptly arrived at the scene to extinguish the flames.
A senior official stated that the electrical board caught fire due to excessive load, but swift action prevented a major incident. The incident is being investigated, and further details are awaited.
