Berhampur: In its crackdown against illegal manufacture and storage of firecrackers Berhampur police have seized firecrackers worth over Rs 10 lakh.
Four persons have been arrested in this connection.
The accused persons have been identified as Rabi Jena (23), M Surya Narayan (45), Pitamber Sethy (45) and Siba Sahu.
Manufacture, storage and transportation of firecrackers without license is illegal. So far seven cases of processing and transporting of firecrackers illegally has been registered in Berhampur police district, police sources said.
