Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik flagged off the Jagannath Express AC bus service between Seragarh and Puri today through a video conference. This bus service has been started by OSRTC.
Addressing the gathering on this occasion, the Chief Minister said that with this new bus service between Shergarh-Puri, one can go to Puri at Seragarh public facilities and have the darshan of Lord Shree Jagannath.
The Chief Minister expressed the opinion that this bus service will be especially helpful for many people of Ganjam who go to Puri for ‘Habisa’, especially in the month of Kartika.
The Chief Minister said that whether it is 5-T School transformation or temple transformation, Ganjam is always ahead. Maa Tara Tarini’s temple transformation work has brought joy to the people of the district. Similarly, 5-T High School Transformation programme has created enthusiasm among students and parents.
The Chief Minister congratulated everyone for winning the best district council award at the national level in the field of Panchayat Raj. The Chief Minister said that Ganjam district can achieve many more successes in the coming days if the blessings and cooperation of the people continue.
Berhampur MP Chandrashekhar Sahu, Ganjam District Collector, OSRTC officials and Panchayat representatives of Seragarh were present in the event.
