Balasore: One person was arrested while he was using fish to transport brown sugar to neighbouring West Bengal. Drugs worth Rs 3 lakh was seized.
Jaleswar SDPO Ankita Kumbhar led the team which made the arrest. The accused hails from Dantan area of West Bengal.
As per reports, the suspect was found with fishes whose mouths were stuffed with three packets of brown sugar. He was making his way to West Bengal when he was arrested. The estimated value of the drug is about Rs 3 lakhs.
A probe is underway.
