Bhubaneswar: Five members of a family were taken critically ill after applying anti-lice medicine to their heads. Such an incident occurred at Dihasahi village under Aradi police limits in Bhadrak district.
They have been identified as Anima Mallick, Nirupama Mallick, Nerima Mallick, Lucky Mallick, and Sushil Mallick.
Reportedly, the family had bought the anti-lice medicine from the market yesterday. A few minutes after applying it, the five felt dizzy and subsequently lost consciousness. Other family members rushed them to Aradi Primary Health Center.
They were later shifted to Bhadrak District Headquarters Hospital. As the condition of Sushil, who is four-year-old, turned critical he was shifted to SCB Medical College & Hospital in Cuttack.
