Flag March Conducted In Bhadrak Ahead Of Prophet Muhammad’s Birth Anniversary

Bhadrak: Flag marches were carried out across several places in Bhadrak city on Thursday as part of heightened security measures ahead of Prophet Muhammad’s birth anniversary celebrations tomorrow. The grand procession is scheduled for tomorrow evening, and police have stepped up vigil to ensure peace and order.

According to officials, as many as 25 platoons of police personnel have been deployed in the city. The deployment includes 2 Additional SPs, 8 DSPs, 20 Inspectors-in-Charge (IICs), 170 ASIs and SIs, along with home guards and constables. In addition, mobile patrolling has been intensified across sensitive locations.

Bhadrak, known for its legacy of communal harmony, is expected to witness large gatherings during the festivities.

Superintendent of Police Manoj Kumar Rout appealed to citizens from all communities to extend cooperation and help in ensuring the smooth and peaceful conduct of the festival.
