Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi visited AIIMS-Bhubaneswar and enquired about the health condition of the FM College girl undergoing treatment. After discussing with the treating doctors, Majhi said that a team of experts will hold a virtual meeting with doctors from AIIMS Delhi to ensure the best treatment for the patient.
“The FM College girl is in critical condition and is being treated in the ICU. We will discuss with AIIMS Delhi experts virtually and provide treatment accordingly. The next 24 hours are crucial for the patient. The government is ready to extend full cooperation to the girl and her family,” he added.
The government is prepared to airlift her to Delhi, but her current condition doesn’t permit it. Once her condition stabilises, she may be shifted to Delhi for advanced treatment. Meanwhile, a probe team from the Higher Education department has reached Balasore and started investigating the incident. Action will be initiated based on the probe report, the CM said.
