Sundargarh: A jeep of the Forest Department was completely destroyed in a forest fire in Sundargarh district today.
According to reports, a six-member team of the Forest Department had gone to extinguish a fire reported in the Bhawanipur forest under Sundargarh Sadar forest range.
While the team members had gone to douse the fire, the official vehicle they had used for travel was engulfed in flames by the time they returned, reducing it to ashes.
