Forest Dept Raids Official Residence, Seizes Suspected Wild Meat In Dhenkanal

Dhenkanal: Forest Department officials raided an official residence on the premises of Gondia Tehsil office in Dhenkanal district, where wild meat was being cooked.

Acting on a tip-off from a specific source, the forest officials apprehended individuals involved in the alleged poaching activities.

During the raid, the forest department seized meat suspected to be of wild animal origin, which has been sent for laboratory examination to determine its source. Three individuals, including a cook from the Tehsil office, are currently being interrogated in connection with the incident.

Further investigation is underway to determine the extent of the poaching activities and identify any additional people or networks involved.
