Bolangir: A Forest Ranger in the district here came under the radar of the State Vigilance for allegedly possessing disproportionate assets (DA) against his known sources of income.
The Forest Range of Titilagarh’s Muribahal has been identified as Prashant Naik.
Reports said that the sleuths of the anti-corruption wing were reportedly conducting simultaneous raids from the morning hours at four places.
The search operations were underway at the Forest Ranger’s house at Haat Pada in Titilagarh town, official residence and office at Muribahal and also his farmhouse at Belpadar.
The Vigilance team comprised sleuths from Bolangir, Sonepur, Bargarh and Sambalpur divisions.
Till the filing of the report, the exact amount of the disproportionate assets possessed by the Forest Ranger had not been valued.
